Within the Project Registro nazionale degli eventi coronarici e cerebrovascolari maggiori (National Register of major coronary and cerebrovascular events), the attack rate for coronary events was calculated among men and women aged 35-74 years in the following study areas for the two-year period 1998-1999: Brianza, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Modena, Florence, Rome, Naples and Caltanissetta. The available data are presented by geographical area (age-adjusted) and by age range.
