Migrants: life styles

The Oec/Hes 2008-12 survey shows that:

In migrants (mean age: 49 years old in men and 50 in women) physical inactivity during leisure time is high in both genders (40%). The prevalence of smokers is higher in men than in women (27.2% and 20.9% respectively). Previous exposure to smoking is also a more frequent condition in men than in women (32.3% and 14.1% respectively).
