The Oec/Hes 2008-12 survey shows that:
in migrants (mean age: 49 years old in men and 50 in women), the mean values of arterial blood pressure are higher in men than in women (129/85 mmHg and 124/79 mmHg respectively) and the heart rate values are the same in both genders (69 bpm). The prevalence of hypertension is higher in men than in women (43.1% and 30.3% respectively). The state of control of hypertension appears better in women with 21.3% of hypertensive subjects adequately treated compared to 14.3% in men.
