Life styles – menopausal women

The comparison of the two OEC/HES surveys (1998-02 and 2008-12) shows that:
over the considered decade, in menopausal women (mean age: 62 years old) the prevalence of physical inactivity during leisure time remained high, even if slightly decreased from 48% to 41%. The prevalence of smokers remained unchanged (18%), whereas the percentage of never smokers decreased from 72% to 62% with the consequent rise of former smokers (from 11% to 19%).
