SURGICAL OPERATIONS AND INVASIVE PROCEDURES

• CABG per ACS: proportion of ACS patients who have received a CABG up to 90 days following the initial admission for ACS. ICD codes: CABG (ICD-9-CM 36.1; NOMESCO: FNA-FNE); ACS (ICD-9 410, 411, 413, ICD-10 I20.0, I21, I22, I24).
• PTCA per ACS: proportion of ACS patients who have received a PTCA up to 90 days following the initial admission for ACS. ICD codes: PTCA (ICD-9-CM 36.01, 36.02, 36.05, 36.06 (stent)) NOMESCO (FNG0); ACS (ICD-9 410, 411, 413, ICD-10 I20.0, I21, I22, I24).
• Emergency CABG (within 24 hrs) rate: proportion of CABG performed within 24 hours from the onset of ACS event. ICD codes: ICD-9-CM 36.1.
